Dates: July 2-7, 2012. Leaving from Lake Union and returning to Friday Harbor.
Requirements: Open to all current 6th and 7th grade students. A minimum of 18 students must sign up for the trip to occur. The maximum sign up will be 21 students.
Cost: $975 – includes all meals; transportation, t-shirt etc.…no extra money needed. Deposit of $300 due November 10, 2012.
Program is a mix of leadership skills, teambuilding and marine ecology. Some highlights include
- Ballard Locks
- Deception Pass
- Half – day restoration project partnered with People for Puget Sound and Dept. of Ecology.
- Second on land excursion for a hike.
