Leadership Gifts Dinner

LeadershipGiftsDinner2012

Seattle Academy relies on a strong Annual Fund to offer the finest curriculum and programs, and to sustain the best environment for our children to learn and thrive. The Annual Fund provides approximately $800,000 to support our school and serve the immediate needs to enrich students’ experiences every day.

Leadership gifts of $2,500 and above make up 80% of the Annual Fund. Your gifts play a pivotal role in building the curriculum and sustaining programs. Families who are able to make a leadership gift are invited to attend the Leadership Gifts Dinner at the Arts Center. This annual leadership celebration includes the presentation of the “Building Our Future” Award, honoring members of our community who enrich the lives of our students through unique programming.

2011 Building Our Future Award Honorees

The purpose of this annual Award is twofold:  First, to recognize the exceptional work done by our faculty outside the classroom, through an activity that enriches the learning and the lives of our students and the quality of our community.  And second, to recognize individuals and organizations who partner with our faculty, individuals and organizations without whom those enriching experiences would not be possible.

This year’s award will honor the Middle School Science and Upper School Robotics Programs. Individual honorees are Walter Major (6th Grade Science),Veronica McGowan (7th Grade Science), and Gabe Cronin (Upper School Robotics). Our community partner honorees are Donna Lew and the Franklin High School Robotic Team SyZyGy, for their guidance, support, and mentorship of our robotics team, Sector SAAS.

The Leadership Gifts Dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 26, at 6:30 PM in the Arts Center. If you have questions about the dinner, please contact Anne-Marie Guerrero at 206-676-6874.
