April 13, 2012 – This Saturday, April 14, UWTV will broadcast an interview with Hadley Hillel ’14 on their series “Back Story.” Hadley’s interview is a result of his entry in the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY). The interview and his film, Wind Up, a twenty-minute movie about a family’s inability to deal with loss and grief, will air at 9 PM on Saturday on public access channel 27.
Hadley and fellow SAAS filmmaker Samantha Jensen ’14 are also spotlighted on the NFFTY website as part of a series of interviews with young filmmakers about their thoughts on filmmaking. Hadley and Samantha were selected by Bing to be profiled in their short commercials on filmmakers which will be shown at each screening of the festival.

- Gigi Gedye ’14 – Dancing Slippers screening Saturday, April 28, at 12 noon in the NW Scene section at the Uptown Theater 1
- Hadley Hillel ’14 – Wind Up screening Friday, April 27, at 7 PM in the Friday Night Shorts section at the Uptown Theater 2
- Samantha Jensen ‘14 – Cans screening Saturday, April 28, at 12 noon in the NW Scene section at the Uptown Theater 1
- Lucas Trautman ’13 – Our City, Our Walls screening Saturday, April 28, at 5 PM in the Experimental Cinema section at the Uptown Theater 2
