February 16, 2017 – Each year, the National K12 Ceramic Exhibition Foundation holds a competition to select work for their National Exhibition. This year SAAS had two student winners selected – Matilde Monti ’17 and Emily Rubin ’17. Matilde submitted a group of plates entitled “Set for Six” while Emily turned in mugs entitled “A Trio of Birds.” There were over one thousand, four hundred entries this year, with one hundred and fifty being selected for the National Exhibition.
