We seek a full-time Study Skills Teacher with experience working with a diverse population of adolescents (experience with learning, emotional/behavioral, or attentional challenges preferred), passion for helping students find personal and academic success, love of learning and comfort in working with a broad range of academic subjects, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Study Skills is a small group, fee-based, elective class. Students receive support for executive functioning, as well as additional content support. Study skills are taught in the context of the content curriculum from students’ core academic courses. As with all electives, students receive an elective credit and a grade for this class.

Experience in academic coaching, small group instruction, special education, executive functioning and/or study skills instruction is considered a plus. Bachelor’s degree required.

We seek a full-time Food Services Manager who will oversee all aspects of the school food service operation. The job functions include staff supervision, administration, planning, directing, assessing, implementing and evaluating the program in order to meet the nutritional and educational needs of students and the expectations of their families. The School Food Service Manager shall partner with vendors to support the development of a sound food program within the budget parameters. The ideal candidate will provide an environment that supports healthy food habits while maintaining program integrity and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. 5 years + experience in School Food Service or a related food service field is desirable
  3. Honest,  loyal,  dependable,  willing  to  work
  4. Cooperative relationships with others
  5. Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  6. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds
  7. Ability to stand for long periods of time
  8. Proficient in basic English language and math skills
  9. Proficient in basic computer programs such as Word, Excel and E-Mail
  10. Washington State Food Handler Permit
  11. Valid driver’s license and meet age requirement to drive school vehicles
  12. Must be able to pass a background check as required to work in a school environment

Salary Range – $55,000-$65,000 Annually DOE + benefits
