Presidents-Day-2012Good Afternoon SAAS Families,

Here are some important announcements and details about upcoming events.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENTS

February 20 – Presidents’ Day – NO CLASSES
February 21-24 – Mid-Winter Break – NO CLASSES
March 6-8 – Final Exams – SCHEDULE (Middle School classes do not take finals but do follow the exam schedule.)
March 8 – Half Day – NOON DISMISSAL
March 9 – Teacher Day – NO CLASSES

BOYS’ VARSITY BASKETBALL FAN BUS

Friday, February 24, CUB Parking Lot. Location is determined by the outcome of the Saturday, February 18 game (noon at Mountlake Terrace High School).

  • Wenatchee: leave at 2:30 PM from the CUB lot. Return at approximately1 AM to the CUB lot. OR
  • Chehalis: leave at 3:30 PM from the CUB lot. Return at approximately 11:30 PM.
  • The school will pay the entrance fee and provide dinner for all fans riding the bus.

Join fellow parents from around Seattle to hear best-selling author, Dr. Anthony Wolf, as he helps parents identify the drivers behind teen behavior, learn new rules to apply to today’s evolving electronic world and gain insights for living in peace together at home. 8TH GRADE

We hope you will take this opportunity to join fellow 8th grade parents at the home of one our families who have graciously offered to host a potluck this year.  There is a little bit different format this year with potlucks being scheduled in different neighborhoods. Check the schedule below to decide which one works for you and then respond to the EVITES which will go out in the next couple of days. Please note that these potlucks are for parents only so everyone will be able to visit without kids and their suddenly very keen hearing present.
