Here are the important upcoming events.

SAAS BOOK CLUB

Wednesday, November 30
7 PM, CUB Building
Come enjoy a conversation with fellow parents about Laura Kastner’s popular teen-raising advice in her new book Getting to Calm: Cool-Headed Strategies for Parenting Tweens and Teens. The conversation will be facilitated by Mary Berry, SAAS Middle School Counselor and Learning Support Coordinator. Reading the book in advance is encouraged but not required. FALL TRIMESTER FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE

Monday, November 21: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Tuesday, November 22: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday, November 23: 8:30 AM – NOON (All students are dismissed at noon. No Middle School After-School Study Hall)
Please Note:
Middle School students do not take final exams, but they do follow the exam schedule.
The Eastside Shuttle will run at its normal times on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, it will run at its normal time in the morning but will depart from SAAS at approximately 12:15.

8TH GRADE BOWLING PARTY

Wednesday, November 23
Noon -2:30, The Garage (1130 Broadway)
$12 per students. Permission form and money due to Rae at the Middle School from office by November 18.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TURNOUTS

3:15 – 5 PM, Gymnasium
Middle School girls interested in playing basketball should come to school on Monday with court shoes, shorts, and t-shirts.
