Dr. Wolf, author of five books on parenting, will speak about being marooned among volatile and incomprehensible aliens (aka teens and tweens), how to discover the drivers behind adolescent behavior, and insights for living n peace together. Dr. Wolf’s books include Get Out of My Life, but First Could You Drive Me & Cheryl to the Mall: A Parent’s Guide to the New Teenager and a new book due out in November, I’d Listen to My Parents if They’d Just Shut Up: What to Say and Not Say When Parenting Teens.

Jody McVittie, MD, a parent trainer, coach and parent educator will focus on how parents can connect with kids and see behavior that makes everyone happier. Using what she has learned from studying leading childhood behaviorist, working with families and educators as well as her experience with her own children, Jody will guide us through new ways of thinking about balancing firmness and kindness to create better relationships. She will provide insight into why we all do the crazy things that they do when trying to get along in families. This event is free, open to the public and for parents with children of all ages.
