November 17: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (C, D, and E Block Exams)
November 20: 8:30 AM – 3 PM (F and G Block Exams, End of Tri)
November 21: 8:30 AM – Noon (A and B Block Exams) NOON DISMISSAL

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Middle School students do not take final exams, but they do follow the exam schedule with one exception.
  • Shuttle buses will run on a normal schedule on Friday, November 17, and Monday, November 20.
  • Shuttle buses HOME will run three hours earlier than their normal schedule on Tuesday, November 21.

Help Feed The Homeless

Parking available in the gym garage. The entrance is located on E Spring between 12th and 13th Avenues.
All 8th grade families are invited to join Rob Phillips, Associate Head of School, and the Upper School leadership team for an informal discussion about your child’s transition to high school. Topics will include the Upper School academic program, the 9th grade year, preparation for college and the college process, and an opportunity for Q and A.  This is an excellent follow up to the 8th Grade Parent Meeting held on October 17 as well as a useful overview of your 8th grader’s upcoming transition.

Middle School Boys’ Intro Clinic and Lacrosse Tournament
December 9, 2017, SAAS Gym
9-10 AM: Intro to Boys’ Lacrosse Clinic
10 AM – Noon: 3X Throwdown Tournament
Noon – 1 PM: Lacross Family Pizza Lunch (preseason parent and player meet and greet)
All Middle School boys interested in learning about the sport and getting instruction about how to play lacrosse are invited to this clinic. The boys will have a chance to pass, catch, dodge, and shoot while learning the critical fundamentals of the game. The clinics are designed for boys who have never played or have limited experience. Lacrosse sticks and gloves are required for these non-contact sessions, and those equipment pieces will be provided.
