Seattle Academy Summer Programs Draw to an End

August 1, 2017 – This Friday, the 7th and 8th graders on the Middle School Yukon trip will return to SeaTac after a  two-week adventure that included hiking, camping, and paddling the Yukon River. The trip marks the end of the 2017 Seattle Academy summer program.

This year’s summer program included our Upper School Zambia trip to our sister schools in Lusaka as well as the annual 6th Grade Alaska and Middle School Yukon trips. In addition, we offered workshops in vocal, sculpture, basketball, volleyball, culinary basics, robotics, and an intro to Middle School. In all, close to two hundred students participated in our summer offerings.

And the painting begins! Sometimes more happens with less so we are limiting our palette and emphasizing textures.
