SAAS to Host Blood Drive on February 6

January 12, 2018 – On Tuesday, February 6, Seattle Academy will host a neighborhood blood drive through BloodWorks Northwest. All Upper School students (sixteen or older), faculty and staff, and parents are welcome to participate.

SAAS has held several success blood drives over the past few years. The year’s drive, as in the past, is sponsored by the Community Service Organization (CSO), which is led by Sam Rawlins ‘20, Rachael Su ‘18, and Charlotte Zinda ‘18.

The donation bus will be parked on 12th Avenue in front of the Arts Center from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM. People wishing to donate should contact Rick DuPree (rdupree@seattleacademy.org) or one of the three students above to sign up for a time. Please remember that faculty permission is required if the time slot is during a class.

During our last blood drive, we had a record number of donors and a record number of first time donors. We will keep you posted on the results of this year’s drive.
