Vidger ’18 Wins First Place in Civics Contest

July 21, 2017 – Earlier this spring, Grace Vidger ’18 submitted an essay for the 2017 Ninth Circuit Civics Contest. This year’s theme was Not to Be Forgotten: Legal Lessons of the Japanese Internment. Grace’s essay, entitled “A Legal Conundrum: The Japanese Interment and Its Legacy,” was chosen as the first place winner for the Western Washington region.

Grace will be recognized with other contest winners at a program and reception held at the Federal Courthouse in Seattle on August 21. Congratulations to Grace and her family!
