Zivin ’19 Wins Mountain Biking Series

September 20, 2017 – Wednesday Night World Championships is a Short-Track style cross country mountain bike race series in Seattle. Courses are a mix of fast single track, paved roads, and grass. The flow and distance changes from week to week but average between 2 and 2.5 miles with a typical lap time of 12 – 18 minutes. The races are held “almost” every Wednesday from mid-April through mid-August.

This year’s Wednesday Night World Champions overall winner for Category 3 – Adult Riders is Sam Zivin ’19. Sam was one of the top three finishers in nine out of fifteen races over the spring and summer, earning him 389 points, well over the second place finisher who had 300 points. MORE RESULTS DETAILS
